Our department participates in all courses (BSc, MSc and PhD levels) at the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Biotechnology. We host more than 100 subjects every semester, with ~450 contact hours (without project works). Our courses cover a wide range from fundamental chemistry to state-of-the-art analytical methods, therefore our students can acquire up-to-date laboratory skills besides profound fundamental knowledge.

Moreover, our department host the Analytical and structural chemistry specialization. After successful completion, students can recognize, comprehensively analyze, and precisely document scientific and practical problems in different areas.

Our educational activity consists of:

– compulsory core subjects, which enable a thorough understanding of the fundamental principles of chemistry (e.g. General Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Theoretical Chemistry and the related practices and laboratories)

– compulsory subjects of our specialization, which provide hands-on experience in the various analytical techniques (e.g. Elemental Analysis, Chemical and Biosensors, Chromatography, Elucidation of Organic Structures)

– project works for BSc and MSc thesis

– diverse elective lectures (e.g. Electrochemical energy storage devices, Selected Advances in Inorganic Chemistry, Culture and Alcohol)
